Objectives

  • Bring down Annual Parasite Incidence (API) to less than 1
  • Reduce malaria death by 100% in 5 years and incidence of the disease by 40%
  • Reduce slide positivity rate (SPR) by 40%
  • Generate evidence through high end malarial research

Strategy

  • Reduce parasite density from population through EDCT and Mass screening
  • Reduction of vector density through IRS, LLIN/ITMN,
  • Personal Protection / Behaviour Change Communication through locally appropriate IEC & BCC activités
  • Integration of technology for effective surveillance and communication
  • Evidence based programme and operational research
